Our Guppies have been hard at work channeling their inner Michelangelo this week! With paintbrushes in hand and lots of creativity, our little artists explored colors, textures, and the joy of making something all their own and learning a little history on the way.
Safe to say the Guppies’ studio has been busy… and the Sistine Chapel might have a little competition. 😉

Our Sea Turtles have been busy experimenting with bubble art and discovering just how fun creativity can be! 🫧🎨 By blowing bubbles into paint and watching the patterns form, our students are exploring color, texture, and cause-and-effect in a playful and hands-on way.

For the last decade, Dane, a wonderful former educator, lovingly known as D.D. to our SCS family, has shown up week after week to read to one of our classes. And if you’ve ever had the joy of meeting D.D., you know exactly what we mean when we say his eyes light up when he talks about his teaching years or begins sharing a story with children.
D.D. doesn’t just read a book. He turns every story into an adventure. He sparks imagination, brings characters to life, and fills the room with laughter and smiles. Our students don’t just listen; they experience stories because of him.
In honor of this incredible anniversary, our wonderful Clownfish class made homemade chocolate chip muffins to share with their beloved D.D., a small but heartfelt thank-you filled with so much love.
We are so incredibly lucky to have such a treasure of a human continue to come back and share his love, passion, and stories with our community. Thank you, D.D., for being exactly who you are. Our hearts (and our classrooms) are better because of you. 💛
