What a day! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Field Day yesterday! The sun was shining, bubbles were soaring, Kona Ice was pouring, and SO many giggles filled the air. 💙
And this year, we had a SUPER special guest swing by… 🕷️🕸️ The one and only SPIDERMAN! 🕷️ He stopped by for some fun tattoos, photos, and plenty of superhero smiles! 📸🦸♂️
We absolutely love bringing our SCS family together because community is at the heart and soul of what we do (it’s literally in our name! 😉).
A BIG shoutout to our friends at Piscataqua Savings Bank for volunteering their time, lending a helping hand with our activities, and getting in on the tie-dye fun! 🎨 We’re so grateful for incredible community partners who aren’t afraid to get their hands a little dirty....or dyed! 💜

We’re so excited to officially unveil our newly expanded Community Cupboard, a welcoming resource helping SCS families and community members access nutritious food and everyday essentials when they need them most.
This special space was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of Citizens Bank, the Mary Louise Billings Trust, Gather, and Nest Carpentry, along with the ongoing support of our amazing SCS families. 🫶

✨ Confidence Starts With Play! ✨ Did you know one of the best ways to build an infant’s confidence is to simply let them play, explore, and try things on their own? 💛
When babies are given the freedom to explore their environment, they’re learning much more than how to stack a block or reach for a toy. They’re building problem-solving skills, developing curiosity, practicing independence, and discovering that “I can do this!” 🙌
🌱 How can you help?
• Give them a safe space to explore
• Let them try before stepping in to help
• Offer simple, open-ended toys
• Celebrate their attempts, not just the outcome
• Follow their interests and let them lead the play
And remember: play doesn’t have to be complicated! A cardboard box, a soft ball, or a few safe household objects can provide endless opportunities for discovery. Every little exploration is a chance to build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. 💕

Our Summer PEAK crew had a WILD time at the Stone Zoo last week! From big cats to furry friends and everything in between, our campers got to explore, discover, and get up close with some amazing animals. 🐾🌿

Change can be hard, but with a little extra support at home, these transitions can become opportunities for growth and confidence.

Friday was EXTRA fun as our classroom transformed into a carnival full of smiles, laughter, and endless excitement! From colorful face painting and a thrilling "rollercoaster" ride to clown skeeball, a puppet show, tasty carnival treats, and so much more, there was fun around every corner. 🤹🎟️🍿
The laughter was contagious, the smiles were nonstop, and the memories made were absolutely priceless! ❤️🎉Happy Fri-YAY!

Our Satellite Classroom this week has officially become a busy construction site! 🦺 From excavators and dump trucks to bulldozers and more, our Dragonflies have been digging into all things construction through hands-on play, creativity, and imagination.
We've got future builders, engineers, and heavy equipment operators in the making! 👷🚜 Learning has never looked so much like hard work... or so much fun!

After reading The Pout-Pout Fish Cleans Up the Ocean, our Clown Fish learned about pollution and the importance of keeping our oceans clean. They had fun removing trash from the "ocean" and helping clean ocean animals affected by an oil spill.
