Our Sea Turtles switched things up and took their rest time outside yesterday, and it was pure magic 🌿☀️
There’s something so special about fresh air and a change of scenery. Resting outdoors not only helps children feel more relaxed and refreshed, but it also supports better breathing, reduces stress, and boosts overall mood. Nature has a calming effect that encourages deeper rest and helps little bodies recharge in a whole new way.
Moments like these remind us that learning and growth don’t just happen inside four walls...they happen wherever curiosity, comfort, and care exist 💚

Masterpiece in progress… 🎨
One of our Rainbow Fish was hard at work in the classroom today, carefully mixing colors and bringing his imagination to life one brush stroke at a time. Art in early childhood is more than just paint on paper... it helps children build creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills while expressing their unique ideas.
We’re pretty sure his latest piece could give some gallery artists a run for their money. 😊

Breaking news from SCS: One of our Shrimps has discovered her new best friend… herself. 🪞😄
After a very enthusiastic introduction, she spent several minutes smiling, chatting, and reaching out to her new buddy in the mirror. We’re still not sure who made the first move, but the friendship seems to be going strong.
Moments like these are more than just adorable, mirror play helps little ones build self-awareness, curiosity, and social-emotional skills as they begin to recognize themselves and explore their expressions.
10/10 would hang out with mirror Shrimp again. 💙

From playground adventures to lots of laughter in the fresh air, it was the kind of day kids dream about. 🌿
